Remote Linguistic QA Positions

*Responsibilities*

• Review & Quality Assessment.
  • Examine translated materials to ensure linguistic quality, terminology accuracy, and consistency.
  • Apply quality assurance checks, ensuring adherence to locale-specific standards and client requirements.
  • Conduct spot-checks, random sampling, and detailed assessments of large-scale translation projects.
• Collaboration & Feedback.
  • Collaborate with translators and project managers to resolve linguistic or formatting issues.
  • Provide constructive feedback to translators for continuous improvement.
  • Report findings and recommendations to improve QA standards and client satisfaction.
• Technology & Process Improvement
  • Use translation management systems (e.g., Phrase TMS) and QA tools to automate checks where feasible.
  • Identify opportunities to improve QA workflows and processes within MLT.
  • Implement QA processes in conjunction with project timelines to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.

*Requirements*

• 3+ years of linguistic quality assurance experience
• Proficiency in multiple languages (more is better)
• Proficient with QA and CAT tools, (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail. Ability to meet tight deadlines

*Pay Rate Range*

• Rate based on qualifications and years of experience

Through thorough reviews and quality assessments, the specialist will uphold MLT’s high standards by verifying terminology, formatting, and compliance with client requirements. Key responsibilities include identifying and correcting linguistic issues, providing detailed feedback to translators, and enhancing QA processes through collaborative efforts and technology use.
